CaTia Field Pro
Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 4, 2026
CaTia Field Pro is a workforce application operated by CaTia Integrated Systems ("CIS", "we", or "us"). Field technicians use it to manage assigned jobs, clock in and out, capture job-site photos and signatures, and receive job notifications. It is intended for employed or contracted technicians, not the general public.
CaTia Field Pro is part of the CatiaIS platform, which also includes OneShot (used by dispatchers and office staff) and the CatiaIS Customer Portal (used by customers). This policy covers CaTia Field Pro.
Information we collect
- Account & identity. Your name, email address, and role, provided through your employer's account so you can sign in.
- Location. Precise device location, used to verify you are at the assigned job site when you clock in or out. The app does not track your location continuously in the background and never uses location for advertising.
- Photos & camera. Photos you capture or attach to a job. The app uses the system photo picker and does not read your whole photo library.
- Signatures. Signatures you draw on the device to complete jobs or checklist items.
- Job & time data. Clock-in/out times, checklist entries, notes, and job status you record while working.
- Push token. A device notification token, used only to deliver job-related notifications.
- Diagnostics. Crash and error reports, used to keep the app reliable.
How we use your information
We use your information to run the service:
- assign, schedule, and complete jobs;
- verify job-site presence when you clock in or out;
- record time and work for payroll and job records;
- deliver job notifications;
- respond to support requests and fix problems; and
- keep the app secure and reliable.
We do not sell your information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it to track you across other apps or websites.
How your information is shared
We share information only with service providers that operate the app on our behalf, and with your organization:
- Supabase — secure database, authentication, and file storage.
- Apple Push Notification service and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivery of notifications.
- Bugsnag — crash and error diagnostics.
- Your employer / administrators — the job, time, location-verification, photo, and signature records you create in the course of your work are visible to your organization's dispatchers and administrators (for example, through OneShot).
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.
Who controls your information
CaTia Field Pro is given to you by your employer. For the job and employment records you create in the app, your employer generally decides how the information is used, and CaTia Integrated Systems handles it on your employer's behalf. Some requests about your information — especially changes to or deletion of employment, time, or payroll records — may need to go to your employer, and we will work with them to respond.
Where your information is processed
Your information is stored and processed by service providers in the United States, including Supabase, Google, Apple, and Bugsnag. If you use the app from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., with appropriate safeguards where the law requires them.
Location, in detail
Location is requested so the app can confirm you are at the correct job site around the time you clock in or out. If you decline the location permission, job-site verification will not work, but you can otherwise use the app. You can change the permission at any time in your device settings.
Data retention
We keep job, time, and related records while your account is active and for as long as your employer's business and legal record-keeping requires; retention of employment records is generally set by your employer. Crash diagnostics are kept only as long as needed to investigate and fix issues. See "Your rights" below to request access or deletion.
Security
We protect your information with encryption in transit and at rest, and we limit access to authorized personnel and to your own organization. No security system is perfect, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we work to protect your information and to meet our obligations, including notifying you of a breach where the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, to give you a copy of it, or to object to or limit certain uses. To make a request, contact your administrator or email support@catiais.com. Because your account is set up and managed by your employer, some requests — especially deleting employment, time, or payroll records — may need to go to or be approved by your employer, and some records must be kept to meet legal obligations. We will not penalize you for exercising these rights.
Your choices
You can grant or revoke the location, camera, photo, and notification permissions in your device settings at any time; some features depend on them (see "Location, in detail" above).
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you can ask what personal information we collect and how we use and share it; request access, deletion, or correction; and limit our use of sensitive personal information — which includes precise location. We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise these rights, use the contact below.
Children
CaTia Field Pro is a workplace tool, not a consumer product, and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
